Once I got the equipment out of the box, the entire kit took about 20-30 minutes to set up and break down. I'm expecting it'll be quicker once I've gotten used to it, but the kit's otherwise simple enough to handle. The backdrops are rather thin, but enough for my current needs. I'll need to be more aware of what's behind the muslin, and the sheets can be easily replaced by thicker material when necessary. The metal supports on the umbrellas are enough to keep the things open, but aren't very tolerant of, say, a klutz who knocks the stand over while setting up. (Nothing's broken, and everything's still useful, but... yeah, that bend wasn't there in the umbrella before.) The bag is sturdy enough for lugging things around, but it isn't padded - I've been using the muslins for that purpose. I'm keeping all the equipment boxes and plastic baggies to make sure things stay tidy, but if you wanted to, you could cut it down to just the containers for the light bulbs. Overall, pretty chuffed with this kit.
Easy to use and looks good in portraits. I used a stand by Fancierstudio and clips by LimoStudio and got this backdrop set up nicely. It's plenty long, and looks like you could cut it up and use it to cover a larger area, however I wish it were wider. It's just barely wide enough for a good portrait, but not any wider. It looks good if you put your subject a foot or so in front of it with a large aperture and get some bokeh on it.

Having skills in a variety of lighting techniques for your photo backdrop can give you some wonderful options for creating beautiful imagery for either products or portraits. By brushing up on your exposure and composition know-how along with practicing prior to your actual shoot date you’ll quickly be able to build a portfolio showing off your creative depth.
This is exactly what I needed to help my small photography business get off the ground even more! Great product! Very strong stands, and yes, as other reviewers stated, the backdrops are muslin and are very thin, just hang all three or a thicker material behind it and it's fine! I took some really nice Valentines Photographs of my children to test it out! I'm a very happy photographer right now! I did see a few complain about the light fixtures breaking on them, I think the case might be that they are over tighting the bulbs, don't, and you should be fine! I also read a few complain about everything not fitting back into the bag, I did not have this problem, everything fit back in just great! A very happy customer here!! I've attached some of the photographs I took using the black background.

Arrived damaged with small holes from the folds but I thought I could work with it. It is not wide enough for full frame, edged in white and printed so poorly that the design looks like it has a flaw. Look carefully at the seller's images. Several are photoshopped to appear better than the product. The last shot the seller uses shows a huge printing flaw. From a design standpoint, this makes no sense whatsoever to blow out that area with white. It isn't simulated light to give depth, it's just a flaw from the printer. Really, really bad photoshop to begin with in the first place, with other areas showing white artifacts on the design. China quality and standards. Not recommended unless you can shoot around them or photoshop them out later.

The backdrop support system typically mounts backdrops that feature a pole pocket. This pocket simply slides onto the cross bars. Backdrops without a pole pocket can also be mounted to the backdrop support system with spring clamps. Spring clamps (AKA A-Clamps) can be found at any hardware store and typically only cost a few dollars. These clamps are great to have around your studio, as they also allow you to clamp backdrops taut at the bottom to eliminate wrinkles or shadows.
With a 20 or 24-foot long backdrop you’ll be able to cover just about every style of portraiture and product photography. These backdrops are great if you want to photograph a larger family full-length, or have a video shoot that requires movement. These long backdrops are great for when you want to pull your subjects far from your backdrop as well.
If you're looking for photography backdrops suitable for outdoor or portable use, collapsible backgrounds are both economical and space-efficient choices. Many fold down to a third of their size, and come with convenient carrying bags so you have room to pack and protect multiple backgrounds. Several styles feature reversible designs, to give clients a choice of colors and patterns. Pastel pink and blue backgrounds work well for baby showers. Urban-inspired prints let kids and teens show off their more expressive side. You'll also find options in camera-ready, chroma-key colors suitable for special effects projects.
